Before we judge Gen Z harshly for their take on the grind of work, as a Boomer I’m here to remind you that Dolly wrote the same message over 40 years ago

And somehow even the 9-5 was taken from us because lunch no longer counts as working.

For last 10 years I've been 9-6.

I mean, I work 9-9, six days a week, and get a single 30-minute lunch break(when I'm lucky enough that someone else shows up for work so I can even take said break). I still can't afford an apartment.

Hospitality?

Food service is the worst imo

We get treated like slaves. All the while dealing with customers that truly treat you like you're subhuman garbage.

There's no faster way to lose all faith in humanity than working in the food service industry.

I don't think we're judging Gen Z. They're just saying what we've all been thinking.

Who's judging them? Everyone sees that capitalism is a scam. Boomers are just pissed that they fell for it their entire lives so they pretend it's not to try and fuck the next generation. No offense to OP personally but it's pretty obvious to everyone
