We need to publish these findings.

some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org · 5 pts · 2y

Evidence that proves me wrong isn’t valid. /s

Agent641@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

Typical flat-earth-denier with their circular logic.

rustyfish@lemmy.world · 49 pts · 2y (6 replies)

Hold on!

Is this the reason why my cock is curved?!

Pregnenolone@lemmy.world · 30 pts · 2y (2 replies)

The curvature of your dick is imperceptible (not because the earth is huge but because your cock is tiny)

rustyfish@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 2y

You dare to make fun of the two inch punisher?!

Rodeo@lemmy.ca · 8 pts · 2y

The curvature has a significant and sweeping angle, but a radius of mere millimeters.

pancakes@sh.itjust.works · 20 pts · 2y (1 reply)

No, it's because your eyeball is curved which makes your cock look curved but it's actually perfectly straight.

Smoogs@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y

Ahh parralax

Agent641@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

No thats actually from wind resistence.

Oh trust me, it would feel significantly more uphill if your arch was the Linux kind.

Actually it's curved the other way. We're just a giant halo ring confirmed.

The_Picard_Maneuver@startrek.website · 8 pts · 2y

My running shoes are like this. They must know something.

Olmai@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

we're living inside a hollow ball, stars are the cities in daylight on the other side

SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca · 20 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Your shoes are like the top one only because you have small feet.

speaker_hat@lemmy.one · 5 pts · 2y

For whoever finds it offensive, it means compared to earth!

Mr_Dr_Oink@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 2y (4 replies)

Skateboards, duh.

RandomStickman@kbin.social · 11 pts · 2y

Our feet has arches to compensate for the earth's curvature. It's the global flat earth cabal together with big shoe to sell us the lie to fund big shoe.

snek_boi@lemmy.ml · 5 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Then how do you explain this? Checkmate, anyone who doesn't see the halo 😎

Iceman@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

The world is concave. Even the "flat shoe" confirms it.

Narrrz@kbin.social · 5 pts · 2y

our feet are like that (or, they're supposed to be). and shoes are made of flexible material, precisely so that they will flex to the curvature of the earth.

rainerloeten@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

Something something manifold.

halvo317@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 2y (11 replies)

Can someone do the math on what the circumference of the earth is?

saigot@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 2y (3 replies)

it's 40000km If you do the math it works out that the drop is about 6nanometers per foot

remotelove@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 2y (2 replies)

So we are always walking downhill. Nice.

RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Only if you're walking east.

Shardikprime@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 2y

And Weast

odium@programming.dev · 2 pts · 2y (3 replies)

I did some quick math and I found that it's at least 120 inches.

FlyingSquid@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

That seems high.

halvo317@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Interesting if true

odium@programming.dev · 2 pts · 2y

Here's my methodology. I took my tape measure and laid it flat on the ground in a straight line. My tape measure only goes till 120 inches and it didn't go around the world. So I concluded that the Earth must be longer than that.

Lmk if you spot any errors in my calculations.

halvo317@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I meant with the angle of the shoe

Like a human sized hamster ball give or take a head
