I'd say about 100% of my woes could be solved by covering me in a creamy, white sauce.

That lasangna argument is complete bullshit. A good lasangna does not need a white sauce.

You just need some cheese.

Yeah, I make hella good lasagna and have never used a white sauce in it. It's always been a red sauce. Just a ton of cheeses like you say ("some" is an understatement lol).
