The new managing director that just chimed in on that post is the best handling of public outcry I've ever seen. Will be very interesting to see what he delivers.

Thanks for pointing it out. I really like matrix and after reading the thread I'm grateful for the community member to actually take a look at whats going on and am eager to hear what the managing director will answer/do about it :)

It was always a problem how close the matrix.org foundation and Element were. Hopefully these are just misunderstandings and the transactions have good explanations.

I'm really glad the Foundation now has a managing director, and I hope we'll get an honest answer once the weekends over.

Lol that uses Email and PGP. Afaik that is way less secure than element. Also it spams your normal inbox so you do need a new mail account
