Derek Chauvin, cop convicted of George Floyd's murder, is stabbed in prison

Getting stabbed in prison is routine, almost commonplace, but a murderous ex-cop getting stabbed in prison won't lead to any outcry about that, or any calls to make prisons safer for the million+ incarcerated Americans.

Instead, it might get Chauvin released to home confinement, since prison is obviously dangerous "for him."

.... That nearly sounds like a plot to get him out of prison onto home confinement. How many people who are stabbed in prison also get to go in home confinement?

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of anyone getting home confinement just for being stabbed. I would think he’ll probably stay in a prison hospital until he can be on his own again in protective custody, which is where I assume he’s been the entire time.

Innocent if you ignore the blatant murder that was captured on film.

The jury did not in fact ignore the blatant murder.
