Really we're the cool ones. No commute and we save so much money on shampoo.
Not when you have to switch on your webcam for. every. damn. meeting.
I miss being able to chill in my pyjamas or lie down on the couch during drawn out meetings where I didn't have to talk much.
Yeah I moved to a webcam-on company and it took some adjustments. But I've got really good at drawing on webcam eyebrows - that is, makeup that takes 30 seconds to smear on and looks perfect to a $12 Amazon Basics camera.
And bless those webcam filters, you can get a nice background and nobody sees the mess behind you :)
At least until one meeting suddenly switches to Zoom and you start to panic because your usual setup doesn't work.
