I knew someone non-binary who claimed they had OSDD, and they thought that "they" was appropriate on multiple levels.

Multiple personality disorder is a universally understood term. This isn't an academic or medical setting, so the official DSM-5 name isn't necessary.

Yes, but the name was changed for a reason almost 30 years ago. Even though it's just a silly comic, a person suffering from the disorder especially should be using the correct term.
