Right, right.

Which is why they've worked on so much, even open sourced Beeper Cloud for self hosting..

They also stopped subscription charges for now.

Im using it for half a year and never paid a cent

The subscription was set out for much longer than the apple drama

Also I'd argue that it's actually good press to see apple directly responding to a small company like this
