Conservative attitudes about sex and things like “daddy-daughter dances” or the father “giving away the bride” are so archaic and twisted, but to them it’s totally normal and virtuous. They can do whatever they want but we don’t need people like this running the country.

Aaaand… once you’re married? I guess the choices are “never have sex ever after 3-4 kids because it’s ONLY for procreation” or “use some sketchy ‘natural’ contraception like rhythym” or “just have 15 kids until your wife dies when she’s 40”. These people really have it all thought out.
