They're mostly for defence. The best way to attack snails is with an a-salt rifle.

i mean, in the same way a turtle needs its shell, and you need your bones. Its not something you can just "take off"

I think they do? Usually i just toss them outside the garden when i find them, i am not actually into experiments on sentient wildlife

yeaaa I'm ok without trying out that experiment 😅 I'll just put them near the dirt instead
