A Gravl filter cup, water shock chemical, and a Berkey gravity filter as well as water storage containers storing about 40-50 gallons minimum on hand rotated. I have a park right next to my house that has a creek.
I ipen d the buckets and will be putting in fresh buckets. Did this so I could inspect everything. Of course I didn't open the #10s. But everything looked great and I am very happy I pulled the trigger. Don't forget to check marketplace peordically in your area. I actually found this deal because someone made a reddit post about the great deal they got by trolling Marketplace for survival food.
This is good advise and I think will be my primary goal but I still wanted to have a contingency with some ultra long lasting, very little effort goods as well. Something I can put in the under stairs closet and essentially just forget about for a long time.
