No worries, we will loop back around using a slingshot maneuver, keep going until we get where we want to be. :)

I have had the impulse to make lists of everything for much of my life as well. The lists itself were basically replacement tasks to feed the dopamine monster without actually achieving anything.

It is difficult when it is hard to focus; the solution to becoming strong enough to build good habits differ a bit for everyone - talk to a GP if needed.

What I can recommend anyone in a similar situation is to try and live in the moment. Look around, feel, smell, etc. -- then just start doing the first thing that takes your attention and try to finish it. Does not matter too much if you do not completely finish a task and start another, switch back later. As long as you are working on things that matter. You can always hone in the process a bit more later.

Not easy, you will get there!

EDIT: Oh, what has always helped me a lot as well: Doing things together with someone.

There is more than one way to 'skin a cat' as they say. Just because a specific 'setup' is common and appreciated by most, does not mean it is the best solution for all.

Balance is paramount, communication is key. When it goes awry, there is something up in the relationship. Talks to have, problems to solve. When you stop doing that, is when things start to get difficult, fall apart.

Talk to your friend, do not be afraid to ask about it - see if you can help, if you want.

Fair point. Though they did do this in earlier times, where people were not yet so wise to the ways of the wicked. I am not saying we are completely there yet, do believe they would have a much, much harder time if they had to try again.

Own child first and foremost, probably for far too other people's children in many peoples opinions. Family, friends.. Depends on the situation a bit too. I have been pretty good at surviving funny business so far. Who knows what would happen in a real life situation. Let us hope none of us need to ever find out, shall we?

Duh. AI's trained on average human data, will produce average results. Want bliss? Train them on Architects.
