I kinda hope we'll be able to speedrun the biomes we cleared last time on our second playthrough. But yeah. Not sure I can do that whole grind again if it takes as many hours 😅
Sadly no additional details what the guard rails around AI usage are in their post.
But great to see! Will be interesting to see what the longterm will look like for them inside of Microsoft. I'd love to see them become independent again. No MSFT, no Activision would be so cool to see 🙃
Even from the graph its the "oh it coooould still be AGI skynet sentinet and go either way next year! But also its definitely already helpful and so good already!". Nah man. You got the same synthetic text extruder we got last year and the year before. The "intelligence" ceiling for the tech is the floor and we have reached it.
What LLMs in Debian development will do, I fear, is eliminate any incentive to scrap boilerplate or reform policies that require a lot of other senseless human effort.
I feel like this is an extremely overlooked thing by the slop coder crowd. Things being hard/annoying is information that you can learn from and improve upon. It is also an own goal imo, if you as someone that wants to automate the world, can't even automate the annoying parts of your own work without the slop extruder...
Because enterpise firewalls suck ass. If you follow some security researchers on fedi it is shockingly common. Like every week there is an unauth RCE to these things and usually its ../. Is it absurd that a companies expensive first line defense is less secure than your mum's laptop? I'm sure it is "AI" ready though!
War diesen Monat in UK. Die Softdrinks sind absurd süß also wenn es funktioniert hat dann nur weil sie jetzt überall Zucker + Süßstoff in alles machen.
You know that it was a financial buzzword from the very beginning? I'll leave you with a reading suggestion: 'The AI con" from Timnit Gebru and Emily Bender. The latter also has various lectutes online about the topic.
Firstly "AI" is a meaningless marketing term. And LLMs are fundamentally flawed. And especially anything by OpenAI/Anthropic/Meta/xAI should be avoided as they have shown zero regard for the actual negative impact of their products.
I did not say that. You, like everyone else that says "its just a tool and technology is neutral", should read more books about ethics, politics and sociology. Everything we do is political. Nothing is "neutral".
Usually the ones that accelerate the destruction of our planet, perpetuate sexist and racist biases, pray opon the weaknesses of how our minds work, exploit the underprivileged, devalue humanity and artistry, are annoying and overhyped, I think you get the picture.

In Factorio?!
Probably cause the one with the shark cards is GTA Online. A legally distinctive product or some nonesense like that
I don't think you got how it works. Not being mean, might have explained it badly. Maybe read their blog https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-text-watermark
Unlikely.

At the time when it was designed that was secure. Because the computer was probably in a locked room. And potentially as large as a room itself.
X11 is dead. It cannot support a modern, secure desktop environment since it was designed ages ago.
No idea what this is all about but the doggos snoot jiggled in my client and I liked that.
That is very clearly the side of the barrel, smh

Did we burn down that planet for that stuff? Exploit workers to do weather forcasting?

Yes I do 😊
