Even if they don’t want to make a few .edu accounts a day to do their spamming, they can just buy .edu accounts in bulk for about 10 cents per. No one is making thousands of kbin accounts to spam from, they make a handful a day, and use them till they get banned. Then they make a few more.

Idk, maybe. But i think you may have issues with tolerances and reproducibility. With analog and neutral nets your going to have edgecases where some devices will give vastly differing outcomes. For something that's fine but not for others.
I think you're thinking 4 year college, not 2 years. It takes a lot of effort and money to apply to a 4 year school. It takes like 5 minutes to apply at your local community college online and get a .edu email address, and it's free.

It gets weird when it's education and or maybe experience somewhere in the field.... some people who write our job descriptions don't think things through....

Cleaning up pet urine can be really expensive depending on how bad it is. If it's not just a few spots here and there, seriously consider ripping out all of the carpet and padding and living on the floor boards until you can get new flooring.
You should buy a black light. Nothing expensive, $20 or so. And shine it on everything with the lights off, urine glows. As a side note, anyone looking to buy a house, or even get a new rental should get a black light.
I brought this up a few years ago where I work. I want to have a team sanitize the applications before the hiring team gets to see them. Remove names, dates that can be used to construe an age, gender, etc. I hope this study helps me get my point across at next years EEO training.
I doubt it's your name/ethnicity. It's probably more that you're over qualified and they're afraid you're going to work for 3 months before getting a better job better matching your qualifications. To be clear they shouldn't discriminate because of over qualifications either.

There's no way they are managing to discriminate against white sounding names for a decade without someone blowing the whistle. Also keep in mind that most grant money comes with stipulations. I remember many years ago (late 90's or early 00's) we got a big grant for computers in the classroom. Good chunk of money. But it had to be spent on computers, and only computers. Would have been nice to get some furniture to put them on. We had some in the back of the classrooms next to the sink, some we put 2 desks set front to front (it was not level) It was janky, but the computers were nice.

I'm a little out of my depth with the chemical reaction, but the idea is inside the tank are a bunch of resin beads impregnated with stuff calcium and magnesium ions will bind to. So as water flows through the tank the calcium and magnesium is removed and stored in the beads. So the beads store it, but can't store an infinite amount. The tank gets switched out every 2 weeks and culligan takes the old tank back and reverse the process. I'm sure this involves nasty stuff, but hopefully economy of scale and regulations make it a cleaner process than just dumping the salt in the ground.
Brine discharge can be pretty bad for the environment, so we do some tank exchange thing with Culligan. Every other week they install a new tank and remove the old one to be recharged. Working great so far.
Shit, seems like we actually should have just given everyone a bit of money every other week instead of giving 'loans' to business owners and hope they didn't just pocket it... whodathunkit
