You can do a general search if you want or if you know the name of the community you want to sub to, you can search for !community_name@instance.url
Another great way to simply find a community is by using https://browse.feddit.de/
Search for an interest/community there and then do a search with the community address on your instance like I said above.
thank you! that's exactly what I was looking for. Was originally testing and added lemmy.world as an allowed instance and was wondering why federation wasn't working. TYSM!
This may be the first time I've heard a government official say that these are not be classic "aliens" but may actually be multi-dimensional beings.
Grusch did lose me a bit though when he said he didn't go to college but was appointed to his position because he knew physics. And the way he talked about it was a bit parochial.
my first takeaway is that news nation has horrible editors. the commercials and plugs this past week made Grusch sounds kinda dumb. He was well spoken in the actual interview IMO.
This is a test comment from my alt account on lemmy.world to see if comment federation is working.
Who should we trust more:
the 3 military personnel/whistleblower who requested to be sworn in under oath
Or the person who frequently denies to be put under oath and instead vents on LinkedIn
Free Kevin
I see that too on Memmy but it shows blank on everyone but myself.
I have a feeling that Memmy just reuses the profile page view for everyone.

Gotta be honest: I’m all for communities. Hate magazines.
Wonder if this was why "Only Up!" was taken off the steam this morning.
Yeah. The updates here make it easier to migrate from Reddit to here. Love getting up to date CO news. Thanks so much
Yeah, definitely just a curiosity. It usually lives in the back of a junk drawer or cable box. Sometimes I'll come across it and just smile :)
I heard Matt and Trey spent $2bil on Casa Bonita. Maybe they’ll mod too

I wonder if it's because !lemmyworld@lemmy.world sidebar and rules say:
There's so much spam in this community already. People are using it as a catch-all community

You can search your mastodon account for @mpeach45@lemmy.world or do something like https://mastodon.social/@Mpeach45@lemmy.world

Not that I've seen. Both YouTube TV and Hulu TV have a free trial tho. That's what I'm using and then I'll cancel afterwards.
