I literally created an iOS app with zero experience and distributed it on the App Store. AI is an amazing tool and will continue to get better. Many people bash the technology but it seems like those people misunderstand it or think it’s all bad.
But I agree that relying on it to think for you is not a good thing.
No garbage disposal is the best garbage disposal. Just dump the garbage in the trash or compost. It's just one more thing to break or make a huge mess as in your case. I wouldn't install one in my own home honestly.
That said, if you're dead set on having a disposal, insinkerator is the most popular brand and just about the only thing I've installed. They seem like the go to.
As a plumber this looks like a nightmare and the only solution in my eyes is remove more concrete and relocate that water line so you never have to deal with this again.
That crack could lead to some issues. The good part about a rubber no hub coupling is that you can easily take it off if there ever is a leak. Try getting the rubber as close to the wall as possible to cover as much of the cracked section as you can.

Love the app. You guys are hustling for sure! I would also love to see a "system" default theme so I don't have to switch between light and dark themes.
