You’re welcome ! Aw >.< I just want to give you a biiig hug ! 🩷 If therapy is difficult to do now, would it be helpful maybe to reach out to a trusted family member or friend? You don’t have to tell them everything, just what you’re comfortable with.

Please be kind to yourself x

Everything your wrote made perfect sense.

And it is sooo relatable for a lot of trans people too. Dysphoria, imposter syndrome, the need for change and the pace with it, perfection. Those feelings are confusing and exhausting. Some are fun too (euphoria). Then numbness, the disconnection, the sense of not existing >.< that’s heavy.. I am so sorry you feel this way

If things feel too much that’s valid too. For now, be in the present. Just be. Drink some water, breathe. Maybe do something that you can do without thinking?

Give yourself the time. Be gentle with yourself 💕 You got this, and we got you! You, your struggle? So valid.

On a more practical note: if and when you feel more energetic (and only then) , you could start writing down your thoughts and organise them. You also already discovered a pattern in your behaviour ! That’s really good. Self awareness is often the first step in improvement and understanding. Writing helped me also. A bit like you have done now. I would also encourage you, if you have that option, to seek a therapist. Preferably one that specialises in transgender care.

Take a one step at a time, and you know where to find us xo

This is super relatable for a lot of trans women. Trust me you are not alone in this.

It is something complex and can hit you like an emotional equivalent of a truck. There’s no shame in letting your emotions go. You felt what you felt and that’s valid. You’re doing a great job in processing it by writing it down.

Let us know if you want to talk about it more

Oki first of all, it must be so difficult to put so much love and care into, not only finding recipes that work but also cooking them. Only for them to be disliked. Even if you love cooking it. I imagine it also sinks in some sense of fear(?) if the next meal would be good enough. That must be tiresome 💔 The fact that you’re making such an effort by itself is amazing ⭐ Aside from that, you also made a huge concession by switching from being vegetarian(!!)

I know it feels like you failed, but please allow me to share a different perspective

It sounds like she has different dietary habits. That’s okay. What’s not okay is if it affects your health. Vegetables, in my opinion, are just less tasty than anything else. But I also know it’s necessary for my body to function well. If you are not raised that way it might feel different or it might carry a connotation.

On the topic of love languages, you are cooking meals and researching recipes. That’s also showing love 💖

Oh and, my stepdad also hates vegetables. I believe he takes supplements to make up for the lack of nutrients. My mum often keeps the veggies apart so she can eat them and he can too if he wants. It is highly likely nothing personal to you or you cooking skills.

I hope you can find a way that puts less pressure on you 🩷

Thank you 🩷 Yes, it was so confusing. It helped that I could share it with my mum and she could relate to the it so much. I don’t think my dad does it on purpose— this mocking, it’s just .. part of him? I guess. Can’t wait to move out ^^

A month ago, when my dad mocked my movements and voice while I was speaking to him. It was weird. And it wasn’t until later when confronted that he denied it ever happened and told me that I am seeing things.

A tantrum and a couple hours later he admitted he did do all of it. I even started to doubt myself. Gah

Oh I love that question!

What if it all works out? ✨

This one is so helpful for me, especially when things get really tough. Then it’s easy to see all the negatives, but this phrase shifts my perspective and lets me think of a more positive future 🌟

I have mostly straight hair (it tends to curl at the very end). That awkward flip is my default hair right now 😭😂
