thanks! to warm to wear right now but they’ll be great when winter gets here

This sweater took me 15 months. But that includes not knitting it over the summer because having it in my lap was too hot (like having a lap blanket). And only knitting 30-60 minutes a day on days I have time to knit.

I also knit 2 hats, 3 pairs of socks, and a stuffed animal while I was working on the sweater. Which is pretty normal for me, I get bored with these bigger projects and need side quests along the way.

For the ones on the leg, I’ve debated threading them through to the outside of the sock and making them into fringe

Thanks! I’m really happy with the colors too, especially since when I picked them out I had no idea what the sock was going to look like

I started 4 years ago. Within about 2 months I had a whole bunch of symptoms crop up - hot flashes, night sweats, breast tenderness, brain fog and terrible forgetfulness (so bad my doctor had me screened for dementia), anxiety got worse, nausea, light headedness, and digestive upset after eating things with garlic or tomatoes in them. I didn’t notice it right away but my gums and teeth are definitely worse now too.

I’ve been mostly sucking it up and dealing with it on my own, because there aren’t a lot of options for doctors around me. My own doctor has acknowledged I’m in the right age range, but just keeps shrugging it off as though there isn’t anything to be done but endure it.

thank you! that’s such a compliment, he always has such great sets (in part because he knows what it looks like from the start)

thank you! i wanted to use up some partial skeins from my stash, and this was the 3rd color combo i tried. the first 2 just weren’t as cohesive as i wanted

nice! i’m slowly trying to build my handmade sock collection too. my dream is to eventually have only handknit socks

thanks! they’re a mystery sock set so i can’t take credit for them matching so well.

the leftover yarn will probably become hair scrunchies. i usually need 8-9g for one but less will just make the scrunchie less poofy.
