Once you do get it figured out, you'll look back and it'll make sense. I don't use Cloudflare services for my projects, so I can't actually help you. Auth/access control settings vary highly depending on what you chose to use (cloudflare, tailscale, netbird, etc),
Having skimmed over the other guy's PDF, I'll say that where Cloudflare provides instructions, follow those over his steps 1 and 5 (since if anything will be outdated and not work/no longer recommended, those would be it), but I otherwise don't have complaints. As with everything computers, everyone has their own way of doing things which they insist is the correct way. I'd do things very differently, but I also won't say there's anything wrong with their way.
Kinda. Kinda not. If you rooted the tablet, you can just run su in termux to get elevated out of termux entirely and into Android's root shell. Then fucking about with values may get you an overclock, however it's possible no options will exist at all, since it would depend on the kernel version and CPU.
An SSD will improve responsiveness, but it's not strictly necessary. Linux is less HDD/SSD sensitive than Windows, but the difference is still there.
However 2GB is really pushing your limits. You'll get to desktop, but you'll struggle to get a web browser happy with that. If you want to make a headless server out of it, however, that's a perfectly fine amount.
Mine is publicly exposed using the standard nextcloud:stable-apache docker container, with nginx (past) / traefik (present) handling TLS termination, but not otherwise adding additional security measures.
It's been this way for several years and I'm yet to have issues, but it's certainly not bulletproof since a critical vuln in Nextcloud could pwn it. That just hasn't happened.
I don't have hard numbers, but my understanding is that in general, Proton is more receptive to hacks which get stuff working, or working faster, but that aren't proper solutions. WINE has a greater preference toward correctness, so compatibility is a bit worse, as is performance.
Ethanol won't just gum up hoses. I've had it EAT the hose on a wood chipper of mine to the point of sorta flaking apart on the inside. Still need to replace that hose and rebuild the carb.

Eh, it depends on how you look at it. Chickens are just domesticated Red Junglefowl, and we've bred them over the last few thousand years to be bigger, (probably tastier), and lay a lot more eggs.
IMO, egg layers and other common breeds are probably perfectly happy and comfortable birds without any 'real' cruelty. The way we've bred them certainly has made them more susceptible to certain health problems and shortened their max lifespan some (compared to their wild ancestors), but my experience with my birds has been that as long as they're healthy, they seem to be perfectly happy with life.
I think of it the same as how we've bred Border Collies into existence. They're very different from their pre-domestication ancestors, but they're also not so severely altered that they have inherent health issues or other severe issues.
Broilers (meat chickens), however are definitely on the crueler side. Those poor things are only meant to convert feed to meat, and the whole living part is probably considered undesirable. Most only need to live somewhere between a month and a year before slaughter, and I imagine if you let them go any longer they'll drop dead from health issues.
Rock Auto for stuff you need next week. AutoZone for common stuff you need immediately. O'Reilly for uncommon stuff you need immediately. eBay for used OEM stuff.
Rock Auto is cheap but you'll have to wait for shipping. AutoZone is not too expensive but won't have rarer items. O'Reilly seems to warehouse almost anything but is more expensive. And if you have no other choice, NAPA.

I had a rat chew some wiring all the way down to the connector on a Saturday evening. Rock Auto carried a replacement, but I couldn't wait for a week. AutoZone didn't carry it at all. But O'Reilly was able to get the part to a store by noon the next day, and I had the car working by evening.

For some reason, there's a weird 8TB 5640 RPM Blue that's CMR. I have one.
Dunno about the rest for sure but I think they're all SMR (except maybe 1TB).
