That site you linked doesn't track whether the AI is working or not. It simply checks whether https://perchance.org/ responds or not. If Perchance were to be down, that gen wouldn't even load; that gen is misleading.

So, I decided to to look into Perchance's internal code myself, since I couldn't get an answer.

A screenshot that shows Perchance's internal scripts using the __generatorLastEditTime parameter and __initWithDataFromParentWindow parameter along with some other logic.

And it looks like Both the __generatorLastEditTime parameter and the __initWithDataFromParentWindow parameter are needed ONLY during the initial load.

And looking at this part of the code, it seems like Perchance dev is already moving away from the __generatorLastEditTime parameter.

So, I am assuming it is fine to remove these two parameters after the app has loaded. However, I could be wrong, these are just my general understanding after looking into the internal logic.

The exact type of bug is undisclosed.

Also they could be inactive, could be busy, could be working. You never know.

Perchance Dev, you have been inactive for a month now. Since you have returned, please answer this question.

I use Puppeteer and Playwright to automatically edit my generator's code from GitHub thanks to its Workflow feature.

But recently, this is what happens my scripts tries to save the edited generator.

And it remains stuck like this.

Alright. I was thinking of doing a workaround to somehow use the Comments Plugin and the Secret plugin without importing them, but I thought about it. I value my user's comfort over winning a challenge, thus, I would like to forfeit from this challenge.
