I've realized that not everything is worth responding to, especially on Lemmy. Why bother? It's not like it matters. That's why the "deafening silence". What more is there to say that hasn't been a thousand times?
TLDR: If you want more traction for your new community, don't spam fifty posts all at once. Post one or two posts a day, and keep it going for a while.
Thank you! It's definitely been a bit of an adventure, for better or for worse. But tbh, I missed all the niche subs on reddit, and there's no real equivalents here. Maybe one day, when lemmy is bigger and more normal people have shown up, I'll come back.
Is it better? It looks abandoned by the new mod, and it looks like a copy of all the other lefty political subs. In any case, it doesn't really matter.
Mate, here's a great example of you intentionally pissing everyone off. Look at how much effort you put into the comment, you got sources and everything. But you're still managed to piss everyone off, while maintaining a thin facade of civility. We can see past it at this point, you aren't here to discuss or anything, just to troll.

Tbh, there has been a lot of race focused posts lately. I'm toying with the idea of some sort of temporary halt on the topic, not sure if that'd make things worse. Streisand Effect and all.
