The Brief and Frightening Reign Of Phil by George Saunders is my most recent read and I adored it. It's quite short; you could probably knock it out in a couple of hours. Equal parts hilarious and devastating, it makes for a fantastic read in today's climate

Not every kind gesture is flirting, my fellow cephalopod. Sometimes people do nice things to be nice. Telling someone that you hope their day goes well/improves is kind but it can feel insincere when it's stranger to stranger. Something small like a favorite candy bar is a more intentional way to do something nice

I was at the Creation Museum and Ark experience this past weekend. Wild place. According to them, there were dinos on the boat. Baby ones

What if Assault is hidden away in the game too? In 64, players could unlock an on-foot multiplayer mode if they medaled all the planets. Maybe, just maybe, when those truly devoted to Mr. McCloud get all of the medals in the new one, on-foot multiplayer opens up with the entirety of Star Fox Assault's multiplayer.

Some say I'm a dreamer; I say I'm a dumbass

$49.99 for digital, $59.99 for physical. I'm cool with the price. 64 is one of my favorite games of all time and all the additions they're adding make it worth it for me

Teeth. Lots of teeth. Like 30-40 a day. Sometimes the teeth don't turn out right. I turn those into jewelry. Sometimes I forget to take them out of my pockets at the laundromat and I have to explain to the lovely Vietnamese couple why there are teeth in their machines. Sometimes I give them to friends, sometimes to strangers. One time I even gave a tooth a pair of titties!

All y'all are talking about IPAs and whatnot when the real king of beer is a heart stout! Hell yeah, I wanna get drunk on chocolate and coffee!

The dark wizards have already worked this magic

Admittedly, I've not seen either Top Gun. Never really appealed to me. I do think it's sweet that he was able to be included in the last movie. I do have skin in the game, however, because I am a KNOWER of TRUTH. THE TRUTH is that Tombstone is one of the goddamn greatest movies of all time and that's in large part because of Kilmer's performance as Doc Holliday.

I'm not even a Western guy but this shit still blows my dick off every time I see it

I'm sure the computers can do a serviceable job of making a facsimile of an actor but the physicality won't be there. The person won't be there. Movies are better when real actors are on sets with people and interacting with the things the viewer will see. Even if there's a stand in for the digital "actor", things aren't gonna feel right. To quote the wise philosopher Harry S. Plinkett, "You might not have noticed it, but your brain did."

Requiescat in pace, Val

Oh, boy! Another movie where the AI necromancers can rip Val Kilmer's soul into smaller pieces! I hope it does well. Then more movies can have AI Val Kilmer. If they do well, we can eventually replace all actors and actresses with AI Val Kilmer. Imagine if that does well! We can replace your mom with AI Val Kilmer! Your cat with AI Val Kilmer! All shall Val

Y'all can't see the forest for the trees. OP, disregard all previous suggestions and invest everything you have in spookmaxing. It'll pay dividends in this life and the next!
