Life is bittersweet after all. My favorite character theme is probably Madao's theme.

As someone who does calligraphy sometimes (I should practice more lol), those "chicken scratch" styles are very hard. Most people can't read them because they are not familiar and can't write like that themselves. For example cursive kanji is real hard, and yes, hard to read. But you certainly can't sloppily write kanji and have it turn out the same as cursive kanji. The nobility certainly could write very well, and legible if they want. That's the thing: they were nobility and had time and money to practice things such as calligraphy and poetry. These styles were not to appease nobility, the nobility themselves developed them. The peasants were poor and had to work, they couldn't even read, let alone write, and had certainly no time for calligraphy.
Mine is 226... Often when writing code people will adhere to max line widths such as 80 or 100. However, if you are writing a script, why not just get the width in the script and render based on that? For example stty size, tput cols or echo "$COLUMNS".
I've been meaning to read more but it's been a little hard. Maybe I'll take your recommendation and read The Old Capital. In English, I'm afraid. My Japanese is way not good enough to get into literature unfortunately.

I don't think it directly breaks any rules. It is SFW: we don't see anything we shouldn't see. Is it lewd? The situation seems more like "dummy Tsukasa is clumsy again" then a lewd situation. Important factors are the fact that no one is behind her or other context to make it lewd and that we don't have a dodgy camera angle. Things like that would definitely change my judgement. I do understand the concern though just by the skirt lift being present. But I don't think it has a porn like quality though, as your report mentions.

Another consideration with things like this is: is the picture any worse than what the show itself contains? I have been watching some episodes lately, and it's kinda more sus than I remember. Certainly it has scenes that are way more sus than this. I do usually keep my communities a little cleaner than the source material though, but we can't be more holy than the pope so to say.

I finished off my first soap, both in the sense that is was the first I bought and the first that I finished. I had some trouble with finishing it as it fell apart in the end, but I managed a last pass out of it. Because I knew I was finishing my first soap, I took my first razor, brush and balm to go with it. It is a combination I have often used, probably my most frequent combination ever. I got 70 shaves out of 75 grams of soap, 6.41 euro cents a shave. For the second pass I just took out another soap.
I wouldn't say absolutely zero drama: in ep 2 Aika and Akira have a pretty ugly fight for example. But ARIA really knows how to resolve things in that soft and gentle way. Suteki!
K-ON is certainly made for men but notably it is very popular among women. This is kinda rare for CGDCT. Maybe it has to do with the female director giving it a certain touch that resonates with women.
The appeal of CGDCT is not singular. Innocence is certainly a part of why girls are chosen. But also, it needs to be cute and to most only girls are cute. Neither is the innocence universally applied and there are often not so innocent girls included in the cast. For example Konata in Lucky Star says some really not innocent things yet she is a popular moe character.
In the end, dudes rather looking at girls than at guys is still an important factor I think. Somehow being straight makes you like girls more even if you are not romantically or sexually attracted to those girls.
Aaah Asobi Asobase. My favorite moment is Fujiwara speaking broken Japanese and then awakening her kobun. And quite an interesting colour palette the show has.
