Honestly you've said exactly how I've felt playing. Eikon battles are so hype and the soundtrack feels perfect throughout, but man i couldn't agree more about the side quests. It's too bad the completionist in me won't let me ignore them

I'm running into the same thing. It's rare enough that it isn't a big issue, just annoying
