It really came down to cost $338.28 vs $165 a year for a family plan is more than I want to pay for now, I also didn't need all the apps they have bundled together. The bulk of the email is not important. If you are receiving important emails to your domain then I would absolution agree that Proton would be a much better choice no question.
This always seems to be a passionate topic, I find it pretty rare these days to actually receive anything important. 9/10 times its just garbage.
