Maybe you can drill a whole from the outside just enough to view the trace and the copper peg, solder it together through the whole and then close the hole up with a plastic patch and glue. It won't be the prettiest fix, but soldering seems like a much better connection the this.
And this looks like a real engineers mistake to have such high current flow through such a flawed connection. Be safe though! Test a couple of times before trusting the machine again.
Could be, but I'd still rather put my money on a company who I'd like to support instead of using a Google device and not really supporting any hardware alternative.
Why would you try to delete it if you think it is overblown and/or unrelated? If that would be the case it shouldn't bother GOS. The fact that they DID try to delete it is a red flag for me.
Maybe they are really insecure about they're relationship with Motorola sure but given the fact that you are acting as the most secure AND privacy friendly OS on the planet, you should not act like this. They should've given their comment and say why they're not worried or why they're surprised by it. Or, like said, ignore it if they don't think the story holds.
Also why do you think its written by AI? I don't get that vibe at all.
Curious how it stacks up against /e/OS or IodéOS (and GrapheneOS for that matter). I actually would like GrapheneOS, but I have an Fairphone because of durability and environmental reasons. (Update: Fairphone not on the compatible phone list unfortunately.)
I use Cryptpad as wel. Its been around quite a while and they have been expanding with an lot of new apps like kanban, drawings, code editors and presentations. All Foss and e2e encrypted.
In a lot of good brands in NL these days they just write "Look, smell and taste before you throw away" I think thats a pretty good waybto check if something is bad. A Best Before date can give an rough estimation when you should start to check the food before using it.
Nice overview! You could add self hosted location trackers like OwnTracks or FMD (Find My Device) as alternative to Apple's "Find My" or "Friends" app and Google's device find apps.
Also, Bazzite (Fedora Silverblue Gaming distro) would be a good addition to the gaming Distro category. Running that for about a year really stable, with Steam, Lutris and on Nvidia 3070.
Please keep updating the sheet! Im sharing it to friends and family.
In the Netherlands, bicyclists were always second place in deaths just behind people in cars. Most accidents which causes death are between a car and a bicycle. When the e-bike got trendy. We've seen a big spike in bicycle deaths in 2023 causing it to be the nr 1 cause of death in traffic. The Fat-bike is a big problem here. Its trendy among kids and realy easy to disable speed limiters. Percentage wise I couldn't find anything this fast but it does look like people in cars just don't see them or pay attention to them as the drive faster. I think cameras checking the surroundings is the best hope in getting those numbers down.
I'm really glad this is implemented! My kids both have an old revived laptop with Bazzite (Fedora Silverblue derivative) and GNOME, and the experience has been really good! With this I hope I can give my kids an alternative digital experience to big tech as part of a guide to better digital wellbeing.
Maybe Magimix Cook Expert would work? Most external parts are available and for the internal parts you get 30 years warranty.
Impressive, never saw the plane before.
No issues with banking apps in the Netherlands, Android Auto works!
Yeah so just subjective info, thanks for sharing.
Please elaborate why?

The guy who bought it at first paid for it right. You're keeping the the flow of money intact.

Did that too, but I always make a typo and end up using Qwant. Works great though.

Didn't know this. Hate that anti-cheat breaks games. It should break cheating, not the game 😉
You can install League of Legends on Linux using Wine and Lutris: link

Also Cryptpad.fr is a great collaborative and fully encrypted MS and Google office alternative. It even has a drawing tool embedded 💪
