I've never played this game before and i got it just to play the VR mod but wasn't able to get it to work so i should try again soon and if they patched some stuff that'd be great :)
The way we work together is by exchanging full fresh indesing pakages that contain the main indd, the idml, a pdf, the links folder and the fonts folder so that we always have everything we need.
I talked with the women i'm working with where we print our price lists about changing from adobe to something else and she told me it would be a bad idea since it would make both of our work much more buggy and time consuming with more chances of the end result being worse. So i'll keep using indesing and the adobe suite for now but i did switch from sketchup to blender for 3D modeling and it's a bit challenging and more messy then i'm used to but i get better rendering results from what i tried so far.
I haven't had it for long but every time i updated it i got less and less options to choose what to change myself instead of letting the system make worse decisions for my purpose...
I'm really excited for a new DLC for the game subside. It's a snorkeling VR game that has the absolute best visuals of maybe any game ever where the gameplay is just swimming around environments collecting items and coins to unlock new environements and buy upgrades. So i started a new game this week to have enough coins to buy the new underwater scooter thing right away.
We see today how bad it is to rely so much on visa and paypal for steam payments when they can control what they want and what they don't want to see being sold on steam. I think gift cards could be an interesting alternative but idk.
I watched a guy who worked as a mechanic for a couple years play it and he said it was very accurate to a real car but without the wires and tubes. I got it on sale for like $2. I just checked and it's still on sale.
It's surely much simpler then a real car since i could disassemble the whole car in an hour and put it back together in around the same time i think XD
My significant discount is to wait a couple years for a 70% off sale on steam and be able to play it years later when i want XD
Obviously. If someone owns a game how can anyone else own the same game?
Cool!
It has to be on purpose. They clearly don't want windows to exist anymore.
If they mean 3D assets then the weird / awful topology should be pretty easy to spot
Maybe in the years to come but the shit code flood gates are open now when the tech isn't good enough for the job.

Pls tell me this won't affect google earth VR on steam. It's amazing!
We're due for some dream for sure.

I'm reading the series right now XD i really like it!
I agree that discs are outdated and can't hold enough data for the whole game and they should turn to cartridges.
