I loved watching Shango when he was on one of his hot streaks. He'll be missed for sure but we're more competitive now. This is probably the final nail for Tatar too. Can't see him coming back now.
This is the kind of stuff they need to do to get new fans. Stagger the games so that something is always on. They don't all need to start on the hour. Plus they need to figure out a better way to broadcast everything.
Same. It's crazy how an injury can really mess up a goalie's entire career. I remember when we were debating who would be the better goalie over the next decade, Blackwood or Igor.
I still just feel like trading for Hellebuyck would hurt us in the long run. I'd rather see what VV and Schmid can do over the next couple of seasons. I'd hate to see Yegor go but I get it, he's been so hot and cold, mostly cold. And I'm fine seeing Blackwood go at this point. He's too injury prone and even when he's playing he's just not that good.
Fitz has shown he knows what he's doing building out this team in a smart way so I'm not worried he'll hedge the future on a bad Hellebuyck contract. I can't wait until Nemec gets into the league. The future is bright and I can't wait.
Yeah and if he's truly demanding Vasy numbers for a contract we'd have hard time signing our other guys. Especially because we're about to pay Timo. I think Scmid's ceiling is really good and he could be the future #1.
I'm the same way. A buddy of mine sent me a blog post that was essentially lemmy and federation for dummies. It helped me get started and I'm also on lemmy.world but not sure where to go from here. I'm down to leave reddit though.
Hell yeah! It's Timo time all over again!
I think it depends on how he performs and how much he asks for. We also have to pay Mercer and Schmid next year.
Yeah that's the part I don't understand. Why not on a weekend? Or better yet why not spread the games out over an entire Saturday or Sunday?
As a fan that started following in the 2012 offseason, it's refreshing to be seen as an actual threat in the league.

Fitzy working his magic again.

Yeah I'm glad he's back. He may not put up huge numbers but he's one of those guys that shows up when you need him.
Absolutely. He's going to be the Selke favorite, especially without Bergy playing.
So excited to start another season. It's a great time to be a devils fan.
Seems like we might get that with Timo

I just moved over from reddit. I'm here to contribute and try and get this community off the ground.
