Did you read the order? It has nothing to do with power generation. The power source is not relevant to the order. This is for equipment that handles the transmission of power and how our grids coordinate with each other. Nothing to do with renewable energy.

I do blame the numb nuts for this problem, but that is because he gutted the workforce responsible for cybersecurity, but not because of his stupid policies against renewable energy sources.

That isn’t what most people would consider a source. The reality is that the word “reliable” often gets dropped from the term when people are asking you for a reliable source. They have an expectation that if you have a source for the information, that you have already found the information credible. The reality is that most people will accept some information from a non-credible source and that is typically when they already have a bias towards that information. Most people are not trained to recognize the existing biases in their thinking so they are unaware of the problem. What was provided is a YouTube video of an entertainer who livestreams. Give me something peer reviewed, not a video of him spouting his platform.

Agree! It may be early and more reputable news organizations are busy acquiring a secondary source. If this story is confirmed as true, it will be a huge shit show. Seems designed to take advantage of the existing news cycle story about the conditions.

The article says she was at 31 weeks when she took the medication. I think the cutoff for prescribing that medication is 12 weeks. I would think that a doctor would ask the person how far along they are before providing the pill. My thought here is that either the doctor was negligent or the patient lied to the doctor about how far along they were(could have been unintentional).

This is one of our most frustrating fights I have with our security design reviewers. Effectively functionless mitigations that create extra obstacles for our service reps to deal with during troubleshooting. One example is our equipment is installed in access restricted areas, in a locked rack. We don’t need to disable unused Ethernet ports on our networking equipment that exists in a locked cabinet and it will take away our ability to repatch equipment to a different switch in the system to assist in troubleshooting.

Exactly on point about html and WWW being a better representation for the beginning of what people consider the birth of the internet.

While precursors might have existed before this song released, most wouldn’t consider the internet existing before there were commercial options. These didn’t start to manifest until the internet protocol suite was released as open source in 1989 and commercial ISPs started selling access.

What sex would you characterize a person who has developed both male and female sex organs if there aren’t really intersex people?
