Honestly great. Plenty of beaches and lovely weather. I'd still live there if it weren't for my work and family.

Nowadays though, the town seems to be getting a bit too big for itself. I still visit very few months and every time it feels less like a quiet beach town. It feels like the the main roads are frequently congested and wider than ever.

Maybe that's just me and my nostalgia for how it used to be...

Definitely not in Brisbane. Our public transport feels completely forgotten about. The only form I have access to is a bus and the closest bus stop I would have to walk to is over 2km away. I don't live in the middle of the city or anything but the area is well established and there is basically no infrastructure to provide basic public transport to people.

This whole fuel shit show will likely be awful and probably expensive.

I played this for maybe 10-20 hours before I stopped. My experience was mostly positive but ended up being frustrating. It felt at times the AI was "cheating" and getting units in impossible amounts of time. Maybe it was just a skill issue but I felt like I wasn't playing a fair game so why would I keep playing.

Multiplayer.... I played 2 games of multiplayer and both games I was abused by other players for not know how to play.

I did enjoy the game for awhile and it plays well and looks good. But as above I had my issues, so rate it a 6/10.

This was done in Procreate. They include a time-lapse feature.

My partner and I find ourselves in a very similar situation to the couple listed at the end of the article. Ever saving every cent only to have the goal posts pushed further and further back. And then our landlord decides to jack the rent up for our current place every 12 months by absurd amounts because "its what the market says". Bull fucking shit you greedy fucks.

But what are our other options? Move out into whoop whoop away from all of our friends, family and work? Aim lower and get a place that we don't fit in? What do we do?

Or even if we get approved for a mortgage, it will be with us until we are 70 based on interest rates and stagnant wages. I feel hopeless and at the whims of those that only want my hard earned money.
