@givesomefucks they still have infinite influence with which to try to fuck you. It's getting harder for them, but AFAIK, everyone who is an "insurgent" is gonna vote for Jeffries and Schumer. This is why they went and are still going so hard at Platner, he swore to never vote for Schumer for leader. This is why they paid his ex to accuse rape like Scott Stringer in the 2021 NYC mayoral primary.
@givesomefucks@Astronut my understanding is Jeffries is leader because he was Crowley's chief of staff, and it was "his turn" and his losing to AOC did not compute, so it fell over to his chief of staff like a hereditary title.
@Astronut@inclementimmigrant I did this after the DNC proved in 2020 that they'll just rig even PRESIDENTIAL primaries, in addition to their normal Lieberman/Cuomo running a candidate against their own ticket when they lose the primary. Now we need to start building an ACTUAL viable left party to oppose the rightwing duopoly parties.
