Kitchen work was the only job I ever walked out of. Like fuck this I'm done I'm not giving notice I'm leaving right fucking now. Takes a special kind of person to thrive in that environment and that person is not me.
I'm actually soon to embark on taking something apart and putting it back together again, which was my jam as an 8 year old. Stakes are a little higher this time (Canon R5, expensive tools and a slim chance of bricking a very expensive camera). Quite looking forward to it!
I just didn't know this is was a thing, the device is a Pine II controller from Black Forest Motion, which should take 10–24V DC via USBC. Power bank is capable of 12V but doesn't seem to want to negotiate.
I have an obscure piece of hardware that refuses to negotiate the required power from a power bank I know can handle it. Can I fix it with a lil board like this?!
I felt exactly this way, and then my wife left me in at the start of this year. The apps are now a complete shitshow compared to when I last used them in ~2020, and I'm not in any kind of scene adjacent to dating. This isn't directed at you (good luck in your marriage), but to anyone else reading this there is hope. I randomly bumped into a girl six weeks ago, plucked up the courage to ask for her number (I've literally only done this once in my life) and we've been going steady since. I now believe in karma and am happier than I've ever been.
Older model Sony RX100 still hold up, I think the 3 had a lovely sensor. Super portable and relatively cheap if you don't need/want modern video modes.
I know I'm weird, but my camera is with me 99% of the time, in the backpack or strapped to my shoulder strap of the backpack for impromptu moments. I go into panic mode when I leave any building without my backpack.
Currently with new partner and am not feeling the need hardly ever. It's been maybe two weeks. FYI she is 30something and is the same. We were both 'once a day occasionally twice' before we met. I feel my penis needs a bit of a break sometimes heh.
There was a short book about a teddy bear. The art style started off as cute but obvious slop pencil lines with color shading. By the end of the book it had fully morphed into nightmarish photorealism. Absolutely demented.
I was recently talking to an independent bookshop owner, looking at some of the submissions for self-published books. It was depressing as fuck. An absolute slop fest. The 'illustrated' childrens books were by far the worst offenders.
Protip, a pin badge works to cover those holes around the tshirt/shirt pockets. You can also learn to live with the holes below the belly button, especially if there's some crumpling going on down there. This further blurs the line between home and outside clothes and elongates your public enjoyment of holey clothes. For shorts, cotch holes adds some nice airflow, and once all socks are more hole than sock, you just switch to sandals.
While I was being deeply unserious and think Dubai is a grotty place that should not serve as an example of how to do anything, I really appreciate the sentiment of and detail in your comment.
I had a quick look but most links were tiktok... Just a oversized freestanding AC unit that they like to run in outdoor seating areas in Dubai. Not sure how widespread they are that's the only place I've ever seen them.
Feels so good to spread a little love. Yesterday I had a delightful chat with a group of young roadmen, and checked in on a woman who looked sad sitting on some steps. She didn't need to talk and declined the hugs but appreciated the gesture. I actively try to engage with randos these days and I'm a happier person for it.
PSA do not mess with additives other than Titanium for salutes. Ideally do not mess with improvised explosives at all but if you really are hell-bent on upping the noise, a string-bound blackpowder maroon is the way to go. Hello interpol my old friend.

128GB DDR4 3080TI rig from 2022 still going strong, I feel I timed this well.

Nah it's definitely flexible as it works fine with 12DC power brick, 3-4S LIPOs, just this issue with the USBC...

I can relate to this if you solely did client work but did you never do any personal projects? I really enjoy printing my own stuff.

It's fine we just need more of those Dubai-style outdoor AC units /s
Skill issues at play here lol
