@zephyreks I see sources on this community getting only better and better with time.
After the Justice and Development Party (AKP) took power, AA and the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) were both restructured to more closely reflect the administration line. According to a 2016 academic article, "these public news producers, especially during the most recent term of the AKP government, have been controlled by officials from a small network close to the party leadership.
A Bellingcat article states that “AA as a whole can only be considered as blatant and deliberate twisting and distorting of the facts.”
A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency, and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for profit or influence
@Dreamer Source having high factual reports and fact checking their sources instead of just posting their agenda? https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/ is usually pretty good even if it's not perfect
@PrinceWith999Enemies It talks about successful rescue of their bodies sadly, maybe not the best translation of words. There were cases in the past when Hamas have held the remains of Israelis for multiple years.
recognizes only marriages under the faiths of Jewish, Muslim, and Druze communities, and ten specified denominations of Christianity.[3] Marriages in each community are under the jurisdiction of their own religious authorities
In addition, Israel recognizes marriages from abroad, if someone can't marry in Israel they can marry in Cyprus for example (And now thanks to the Utah loophole they can get married in Israel) and their marriage will be recognized by the state.
@rticks Israel is a democracy and you can care about any polls you want. There is a fringe idea of so called "Halachic state", the idea of Israeli laws being based on Talmud, however it's very unpopular among the Israel's population.
@theacharnian
There's a difference between Pro-Palestnian views and Pro-Hamas views.
Hamas isn't even an internationally recognized government of palestine, and recognized by many countries including Canada as the terrorist organization. I still don't understand why there is some people who refer to two interchangeably.
@Blaze What do you mean by "doesn't allow you to do so"? Instance can block bridge domain and it will not be federated
How is it different from the rest of instances?
@Carighan
@BuddyTheBeefalo I don't really get the problem tho? All Information that you post on Fediverse is already public, that's how ActivityPub works, no?

Any other outlets?
@Dreamer
@brain_in_a_box I'm sure that CCP-funded or Russia-funded media like RT are much better sources./s

@Dreamer Just wanted to say that zero respectable sources except al Jazeera(Qatari state-Funded media) reported on it

@ThatOneKirbyMain2568 Not gonna lie, I like the idea, looks pretty cool, even if I'm unused to see these shades of colors on flags.
@sabreW4K3 It seems like your instance has 1.19 version - https://fedidb.org/network/instance/lemmy.tf
It's a known bug of this #Lemmy version, tell your instance owner to update to 1.19.1, if fixed it as far I'm aware
@snek I am sorry for the misunderstanding then, I thought it was a reply to my comment about Hamas recruitment age.
@machinin
@rticks
Uhm- No? Google "Israeli Arabs"
Not really https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_in_Israel

@snek Yes I have, however I didn't see it mention IDF recruitment age anywhere in it. And underage detainees is not something unique to Israel.
@machinin
@deadsuperhero Loved this article, very well written!

@Squizzy I can make up anything too, it's very easy, however, it will not make it true. There were literally 0 proof of any of it.
