But human activity has made the monarch more pitiable and the lanternfly more hated. These insects are just trying to exist. It is our activity that has caused the problems. Sometimes we must remind ourselves of that, even though we must kill the invasives.

Depending on where you're located, I would seriously reconsider cultivating that plant. For the sake of the monarchs.
