I am excited to finally have standalone Beat Saber, as a PC VR only user that never owned a meta device it will be nice to finally take Beat Saber wherever I want.
Chants of Sennaar (a flat game) also just got verified today, so I will probably play that. I think it also might be time to play Half Life Alyx again, maybe I will try playing through the whole thing standalone.
And I will probably also stream some of the other games I have been playing (Resident Evil Requiem, 007 First Light, and finally playing the Indiana Jones DLC).
I was imagining they just didn't want to give too specific of estimates, so before September just means anytime between now and September (with September being the latest possible time you could get it). I guess we will see though, I imagine they definitely want stock to be able to ship with Machines though, so maybe they will slow out the amount they send out.
Is it just me or does the title or this article not match it's contents, the title says Ryzen 5 laptops run 15 of the top 20 games natively, but the actual contents is that a Ryzen 5 laptop runs 20 of the top 20 games natively and the Neo runs 5 of the top 20 natively.
I like that it also slowly goes away over time too. I played bedrock once and they have snow that piles up in snowy areas, but it never goes away and just becomes a huge mess over time.
Race for the Wool is always fun, recently played through " Hot and Heavy: Race for the Wool" and it was good. Also if you are interested in modded you can play Reign of Nether the RTS mod. I recently hosted a LAN and we had two players play in the RTS mode and the rest of us just played in survival on their teams and gathered resources to give them.
Riot actually cancelled this game and then the original creator bought back the rights, so Riot isn't even involved anymore. Which is good news in my books.
Early leaks were pointing to a Alyx sequel, but I think the more recent leaks are pointing to it just being Half Life 3, which would presumably be playable on the Deck. Frame and the new Steam machine.
It is Deckard, from the looks of it won't be as powerful as the steam deck but not because the ARM chip is slow. They said it is just because the effective TDP of the ARM chip (after subtracting all the work it is doing to track the headset and controllers and do the rendering) is like 7 watts, compared to the 15 watts of the steam deck. So you will probably still be able to run some of the more indie games on it. The translation later is also a 10-15% slow-down for CPU bound games, but they said should be negligible for GPU bound games.
I believe they mentioned that it is basically HDMI 2.1 but some features weren't supported maybe 4:2:2 color, I don't remember. I think they also mentioned they are working on fixing it so they can call it HDMI 2.1 but they aren't sure if they can so they are just calling it 2.0 right now to be safe.
It is so exciting how many first time headset owners are in this thread, really hoping this will bring and keep more people in VR.

Likely just for future headsets that do support it, that way all your old captures are high quality.

Is this article AI?
The controller actually has both thumbsticks and grip capacitance sensing, you can set it to be whatever you prefer to activate gyro.

They failed to charge tax in some states because they had it set as a piece of software. So clearly they are still learning, lol

Hoping we eventually get special editions of this, like what they did with the white steam deck or the LE transparent steam deck.

Financially the Witness did way better than Braid. Like on the magnitude of 10x more.
If I remember correctly Valve paid for this build system specifically for ARM support, so yeah I think that is going to happen.
They said all products will launched in all markets the Steam Deck currently ships in, and I believe their full list included Australia

I mean I think better Linux SteamVR is a given since they are selling the new steam machine as an option for streaming to the Frame.

They actually already shipped that as a limited edition last year.
