As far as I know, my young kid and I have never caught it. My husband caught it at a birthday party the three of us all attended. We were in close proximity with my husband the three day before he finally tested positive andy kiddo and I tested multiple times and never tested positive.

Part of me wants to believe my kiddo and I are just incredibly lucky and never caught it, but more likely we are just asymptomatic carriers.

I'm so mad about it. I've been playing Sims since it first came out. I'm embarrassed to admit how much money I put into that game. As soon as the announcement that there was going to be a buy out, I stopped all purchases. But Iove the game. And I spent so much money on it. I'll probably continue to play what I have. 🫤

That being said, I did buy Paralives and while it's not the same feels as Sims, it's close. I just need a better computer to play.

Yea. Kid is such a social butterfly, so different than me growing up! I always had trouble making friends.

Not on a lot of HRT stuff yet. I think the Peri is just starting really kick in gear. I am also a late diagnosed ADHD so I'm also trying to navigate that, which apparently affects all of it. But thankfully due to the ADHD medication, I see my doctor frequently (and she's amazing) so I'll be bringing up my new symptoms to see what she thinks at my next appointment

It's SO difficult! This core group of friends love our kiddo and often includes them in our activities. And now we finally have a proper babysitter so we actually get adult time which is so important, because I get it. Adults without kids don't want to always be around kids.

And you're right. My anxiety is telling its me, I'm the problem but in alll actuality its probably everyone just dealing with their own shit trying to get through life. It just feels more personal when 3 of the 5 people in the group are living together have a grand time and it feels like we've been excluded.

This is new territory for me! I would normally shrink and withdraw from everyone besides my partner and have a little pity party. But I think with therapy I've realized this is not the best thing for my mental health and I wanted to try something new.

For what it's worth, I'm proud you're going to stop by your game shop to see about a table and wish you luck!

It's been a long time since I played so my memory may not be totally accurate, but the final boss in fatal frame 2. I rage quit it because it was a one hit kill, and before you get to them, you had to walk down a long hallway avoiding other enemies. It was like 5 minutes of work to get to the final boss only for him to hit you once and you have to start all over. So infuriating. The rest of the game was so much fun.
