100% agree, and I hope as working from home becomes more popular/more of a standard, I will be much less dependent on my car.
obviously this canāt be the case for everyone but iād be happy not driving 2 hours a day for work, let alone 3-4 hours on public transport.
I think until thereās better public transport to other areas of SEQ (and further even), we are going to always have a need for vehicles.
I would love to be able to catch a train to the heart of Caloundra, but for now the most efficient way for me to travel is to drive everywhere.
