When I was introduced to anime by a fan, I was not impressed. Me and my wife got some giggles out of these out of their naivity (and some became family memes). Aside of that, anime makes me cringe.
I like Rammstein Engel clip with Evangelion video compilation, but I don't think I'd enjoy the anime itself (though maybe I should try some time).

I think using AI casually to shorten search for information (always double check it) or to create an image to be amused of or to use as reference to create my own art is perfectly acceptable.

Also I'm a programmer and I've never used AI to write code for me, and I think it's terrible idea because it will make me too relaxed and dumb, leeching all the skill from me. Also it is useless for anything relatively complex as it will create more problems (bugs) than it solves, and it will be unable to fix them. Treat this as a side note and not an addition to my unpopular opinion about AI, because this part I think is popular.
I agree with you. Drug control is only needed to control population so they keep working for their masters.
Alcohol is a drug too, and is allowed because it tends to kill closer to old age where people become burden to the system. People can work next day after consuming alcohol. Also most consumers do that just before weekends. So negative impact is even less.
There are elites in every country. And they have power. Only revolution and establishment of anarchy may help. But I don't believe anarchy will work and not deteriorate into barbarism. We're fucked.
Yamaha Reface CS. A remake of 70s analog synthesizer. Even if I don't make music professionaly, I enjoy playing melodies I've learned, fooling around with sound, and every time I catch a sight of it, it sparks joy in me. I own it for more than 2 years.
Also it's fairly cheap for synthesizer, 370 euro, but definitely it's not a toy, but rather a full blown instrument.

I doubt it is useful on generated image of text, and I can only recall those on text based captchas, can't remember any scanned text.
