Yeah the main thing I liked about arch is I could have the same install on a system for like 5 years. I installed basically everything so I knew how everything worked and could tinker.

That was a study specifically on lower back pain. It [paracetamol/acetaminophen] is moderately effective for other things like tension headaches. Also the liver effects are not serious if you follow the guidelines for dose and avoid regular use.

I like gnome's approach to a unified and opinionated human interface design. I think it makes a nice cohesive user experience. If other projects don't want that then they probably shouldn't be building off of gnome.

If you do this it means you are missing out on one of the massive advantages of Linux. That advantage is you don't need to do this

You don't have to change distro to do this BTW just install a desktop environment that uses X11 instead of Wayland and try that. If it doesn't fix it you can uninstall it.
