That's why we have Trump in the US or the AfD in Germany. "The public wants this" hasn't been a valid argument for some time now. There is a right and wrong in some situations and this is one of them.
So this appears to be genuinely on the agenda of most Europeans.
The detrimental effects of social media are proven in many peer reviewed publications. No one is debating that. But why the hell does everyone have to cut back on their personal freedom to mitigate those issues? Big tec created a monstrosity of an algorithm manipulated internet to maximise their investment opportunities and somehow no one is putting the responsability on them to remove their own digital cancer from our society. Instead we get to feed the algonet even more of our personal data to make the issues even worse. That's the shitty part.
So I have the new SD card active and haven't had any service interruptions in the last 48h. I'm gonna optimistically assume this solved the problem. Thanks again.
I wasn't aware of a hardware watchdog, thank you very much for that. It's now turned on and the new SD card has been active since yesterday without hiccups.
Ich würde das gar nicht so verkomplizieren. Helmpflicht würde den Gebrauch schon so stark reduzieren, dass die ganzen Leihanbieter einpacken können. Dann haste eh nur noch die 12 Leute die sich einen scooter gekauft haben übrig.

Couldn't you move the mouse to 1920,1080 or whatever your resolution is for the same amount of time to correct the movement? Since you can move the mouse in millisecond speeds it should barely be noticeable
There is chat control 1.0 with voluntary scanning and intact e2ee. Then there's chat control 2.0 with mandatory scanning, even in e2ee chats. The extension is for 1.0. 2.0 hasn't passed yet

ydotool does specifically do what you need. Have a look at their source. Or use it in your python script.
