But now that it's burning, I oppose any effort to put out the flames because I'm afraid of getting wet stains on the couch."

That said, I've found an inaccuracy with KeePass. The comparison claims that, unlike the other password managers, Keepass is unavailable for mobile. Technically, that's true for KeepassXC (the most polished Keepass fork). However, with KeepassDX, there's definitely a very polished Android app (though under a different name), and apparently, iOS apps exist too.

Another veteran, I see! I concur, messing about on Samsung phones with Odin and TWRP was an entirely different business. I switched to CalyxOS after that, and their install process / command line installer was already leagues better (partly probably also due to the Pixel line's greater openness).
Wie ich sagte: Ist ein Geduldsspiel. Ich brauche bei weltweiter Streuung der Server in Mittel 10 Serverwechsel, bis Reddit die Seite ausliefert. Bin aber auch einer von der renitenten Sorte: Wenn mir ein Großkonzern Barrieren in den Weg wirft, dann wird der Anreiz größer (nicht kleiner), diese zu durchbrechen oder zu umgehen.
Aber egal welchen Grund es hat, heute hab ich gesehen wie nutzlos Reddit geworden ist.
Ich wünschte, das wäre so. Aller Enshittification zum Trotz hat Reddit leider noch wahnsinnig viel Nutzen, finde ich - einfach durch die Zahl der Leute, die der Seite durch ihren Content und ihre Expertise Wert verleihen. Deswegen bin ich bei Reddit auch raus und nur noch lesend dort unterwegs (per Redlib; blockt Werbung und ermöglicht Subreddit-Abos ohne Account): Weil ich der Plattform nicht durch meine Expertise Gewicht schenken will.
Lemmy ist cool, aber bei Weitem noch nicht auf Augenhöhe mit Reddit. Es bleibt abzuwarten, wie sich das entwickelt, wenn Reddit weiter enshittifiziert wird - sei es durch Alterskontrollen wie hier oder am anderen Ende durch unkontrollierte Bot-Verseuchung.
