I think there's an underestimate of how a lot of Republicans don't like trump. They're not a part of his maga crowd but they're still dumb enough to think that voting for a Democrat is worse than voting for trump. The support and endorsement of all of these Republicans and the support of the Lincoln project is showing those people who are Republicans and have Republican beliefs that it is okay to vote for Kamala.

That's very interesting. I have a cat that looks almost exactly like the one depicted but the orange in our cat has grown out a little bit more. When she was about 6 months old she looked exactly like the picture. Fairly confident ours isn't deaf though because she's reactive to when I unlock the back door to let her outside lol. It could be that she's not got the right genes though because her mom was Siamese and Dad was orange and she came out as a flame point.

I've done some studying on cloud seeding in college. By far not an expert but took some classes on it. It requires storms to already be developing to be able to seed the clouds. All it is doing is helping the storm to produce more rain and less hail. It's not creating anything out of thin air. There is no controlling the weather just giving it a (very small) nudge. In fact, it is so minor that there's a lot of controversy as to whether it's even worth the time and effort to do but studies do indicate that it is successful in increasing rainfall throughout the life of a storm.

When you start, if you have any concerns about your CFI or the flight school as a whole feel free to post here again or DM me directly and I can help point out any red flags.

I'm a CFI and airline pilot. Based on your situation LSA sounds like a good fit for you and it seems like you've done your research. In terms of interviewing an instructor it just depends on what you are looking for out of an instructor. If you're worried about them having a certain personality or teaching style it may require you just paying for a lesson with them. You could maybe start with a ground lesson such as a practice oral exam or something like that. Or you could just go straight into a first flight lesson/discovery flight type of thing and get a feel of them. At no point during your flight training are you forced to continue training with any instructor. The hours you will build during flight training is valuable experience that will count towards your progression as a pilot and towards getting your ratings. If you get 20 hours in and you realize the instructor isn't a fit for you, then just stop scheduling lessons with them and find someone else. If they're cordial you could even be direct with them and just ask if they know any other instructors you could fly with because you need to experience a different teaching style. Most people in aviation are great, caring people who want to see others progress and be successful in their flight training.

Same here, it was cool to see they've come to Lemmy as well. I would occasionally pull up reddit every few months to peep on development of this game and now that's one less time I feel inclined to use that god awful website.

I work for a unionized airline and a lot of people bitch and moan that we have to pay dues roughly equal to 2% of our income. I always remind people that our non-unionized competitor pays their employees a flat 10% less than we get paid. So we make more, get union protection, and a ton of other benefits by being unionized. I have no problem paying union dues.

I'm an airline pilot and it's funny how many people I work with that tell me they don't want to move on to work with United and Delta because they have gone "woke". United and Delta have always had the best pay and benefits and I've been shocked to see how many people put their own bigotry and racism before working for a company that will give you the best quality of life and pay.

I have such a hard time understanding why anyone would vote no to it tbh. I was very anti-sailing at first, I wanted shamanism and taming more. When sailing beat out those two I just watched every video and Q&A the dev team put out to understand the skill more and it made me realize the dev team is gonna make this an incredible product for us. We are seriously so fortunate to have such a passionate and talented dev team behind this game. I am beyond excited to see what they do with this.

I think the dev team is in top notch shape. Everyone is killing it lately. They're communicating great, game jam has been a slam dunk, all around things are looking good.

American here, we're not always playing games while drinking. That's mostly reserved for parties, especially college parties. I'd say most times someone is drinking they're usually watching a sporting event or hanging out/talking. I'd say most adult Americans that drink only play drinking games a few times a year like at holiday/family parties.

I've never gotten one personally but I'd say probably just go to legit massage places and don't go in expecting one or asking for one and you'll probably have someone hint to it or just flat out offer it. Just keep trying different massage parlors and I'm sure it will happen eventually. Alternatively, go somewhere where sex work is legal and get it that way.

Have you never visited a national park or monument?? They're one of the greatest aspects about America. Do you think all the monuments in DC are a waste of tax payer money? Should we just scrap them all and put up more McDonalds and subway restaurants? I mean what a fucking clown ass response that is.

Millions of people from outside the US travel here to see our national parks and monuments. It's an incredible return on investment.
