Maybe you could try streaming your singleplayer games to discord and your friends can join and watch if they'd like? Sometimes I do that just to trick my ADHD brain into treating it like an event rather than something to pass the time.
[edit] and just to be clear, my friends would rarely watch, but it's just enough of a push to reframe it in my head.
Door dash will become more expensive as a “reaction” to this (reaction being an excuse their executives use)

Suddenly the former affordability mayor is replaced by an anti-immigrant pro-cop mayor that preaches all about the plight of the white person’s pocketbook and who’s to blame for rising prices, but in a more New Yorker-acceptable tone.
what do you make with it if you don't mind me asking?
A bunch of trash 😅 but if you’re interested, I made a bunch of stuff earlier this year when I was less busy (essentially, the challenge was to make a whole song every week of the year, which I failed to keep up with haha)
A lot of it is with software synths, but I did use my hardware synths like the minilogue, Dirtywave M8, and Roland SC-88 on a few songs.
Generally, you can find me on streaming services and Bandcamp under Jentu if you like any of it. I mostly just make music for myself without really caring much how it is received.
I have a Wobkey Rainy 75 and it’s by far the best keyboard I’ve ever bought/used. That being said, don’t go out of your way to buy one since they have gotten far more expensive than when I bought mine AND support for it has been very difficult. Yeah this was one of the many Kickstarter keyboards that was sent to a bunch of keyboard reviewers and they hyped it up massively, which I got swept up in. I’m just glad my keyboard was actually delivered at the end of the day.
I had a used keychron for a long time and loved it except for the non-swappable clicky switches. Highly recommend them.
The day-of, I just remember my teacher being out in the hallway on the phone for like 30 minutes, then an announcement was made over the intercom that parents would be picking us up. I didn't know what happened until I got home. Then we just watched news replay the towers getting hit over and over for a few days.
A few years later, I remember being instructed on coloring in an outline of the country of Afghanistan (joke here about Americans only learn geography from war) and the teacher told us if we wanted to draw a bomb or something in the air above it, that'd be okay. Shit was absolutely fucked. I remember having a mock vote for Kerry v Bush and I was the only kid who didn't vote Bush and the principal called my parents to collect me from school for the day.
They've already explained that China has more economic data to determine that theoretical cap location, so you, not being Chinese yourself, are basing your cap entirely on vibes with no insight on to how it hurts or helps Chinese people. It's just as arbitrary a number as the equivalent question one could ask you- Give me a hard number of people who should be dirt-poor in China today to prevent billionaires. Quick economic development (with the help of leashed capitalists) has lifted so many out of poverty and it seems you would happily undo this purely because rich people exist and it isn't pure enough.
Just to piggyback off this comment a bit (since I'm not sure I've ever rented anywhere with MERV 13+ filters). Try making a Corsi–Rosenthal Box with a box fan and 4 air filters. This might be beyond your price range since MERV13 filters aren't the cheapest in the world when you have to buy 4 of them, but I've been using mine for years and they work REALLY well. My PM2.5 sensor is consistently on "0" unless I'm cooking.
Why would people who want socialism vote for people maintaining capitalism? Why would you equate participating in bourgeois elections as an indicator of motivation of all political action?
There's ~40-50% of US potential voters who don't vote for various reasons- Living in a state where the results are almost guaranteed, being alienated from politics in general because of the distrust in our government as a whole, leftists who don't vote but are politically active in other ways, etc. There's also people who do vote because they feel like they have to vote against the worse choice. If only all this alienation and lesser-evilism and feeling ineffective politically could be siphoned into a mass movement that helps all of us. Capitalism cannot be "fixed" if a group of people who don't vote suddenly start voting. That's pure fantasy. But it seems people who believe this would rather hope for a fantasy situation than actually looking at reality and adjusting their strategy to make things better. Otherwise, you'll just delay necessary change and feel resentment toward people who couldn't convince you fast enough.
(iPhone) Depending on the framing of dumbing down, an alternative camera app could be suggested. I use Halide to get rid of all the photo processing Apple does by default (which ruins night photos imo).
Your life is nice because of the death and destruction of those who your system deems to be lesser. If you can't be motivated to change things because you can't see the issue with the cost of your comfort, you're going to learn some very hard lessons once people you thought were on your side start fighting you.

Do you make music too?

Korg minilogue has been a favorite of mine for years (since I can’t reasonably afford a Moog).

Just wait until you find out about the Supreme Court and how long their terms last.
Travel bidets may not really compete with an actual appliance, but it's better than just shitty workplace toilet paper

I desperately wish my Rockbox consistently worked without crashing or freezing once a week.

Or when "corporatism" doesn't work, they'll just make up words like "leveragism"

Are you the caricature of someone who was given an extra money in a game of monopoly but believe to have earned your winning position through sheer strategy and "working harder"?
