Couple that with a relentless propaganda/echo chamber that's always at hand, and the good fight becomes a lot harder. They will push social issues only as far as they can buy your loyalty and no further. They’re happy to use birth rights, guns, immigration and whatever else like a tennis ball, so long as the public is focused on the ball and not them.
