DRG+Helldivers is the explaination I hear most. As someone who has over 500 hours in the former, and didn't really get caught up in the hype for the latter I gotta say, it's really fun.
Basically, you're dropped into a map with a primary objective that you must complete, then move onto a boss fight, and finally run to an extraction zone after that. There are a bunch of additional side questy type things to do on each map as well. The gameplay itself is a lot of hoarde clearing, classic 'circle strafe and shoot' gameplay.
There are two things which give this game this game some extra spice. First, there's a magic system where you can take 3 spells per mission, these are elemental and the elements have different interactions (eg fire spells will cause acid from acid spells to explode). The other thing is wildcards, which drop from enemies and events which provide random buffs for the remainder of the mission, these have the classic rarity based color system from....like everything, and while they hit the dopamine receptors, they don't change gameplay too much.
There are different weapons to unlock, character stats to distribute, and a system where you unlock equipable cards so that you can go into a run with some buffs already applied.
I bought the game on a whim to try it out yesterday and ended up accidentally spending 4 hours in there. I'd say if you like DRG or Helldivers its at least worth a try, you can always refund if it's not your vibe.
PS: When you finish a mission, you are immediately presented with the option to start a new mission or head back to the hub which is such an insanely nice QoL thing for back to back runs.
I think when you get to the point that you are providing the service, and taking money for it, it stops being satire. They even pulled the "well somebody is going to make money off this anyway so why not us".
Honestly 2k is fine for most tvs, I wish that became standard. Imo 4k should be reserved for computer screens and the like, that are less than a metre from you, most people can't really see the difference anyway, it all depends on screen size and distance. From memory a 60inch at 2m will not look any different in 1080 or 4k.
Also side rant, drives me mad when people are more worried about resolution than bitrate (not directed at anyone here) . I have a friend who "can't stand watching things in 1080p" but half the 4k streaming content is compressed to hell.
Hey mate, I was in the same spot roughly 6 months ago, and now have a pretty decent homeland hosting a bunch of services and it's been amazing! I don't really want to say what or how I set things up because I'm no where near competent enough to be offering guidance or advice, but I will say, if you have the time to knuckle down and learn, you can definitely do it! It's very intimidating but by no means insurmountably hard.
If you have an old PC that you don't care about, you can just chuck some stuff on there to see if it's something you would want to get into, wIth little to no risk.
I mean, I provided a second edit to clarify before this comment but if you want to ignore that, sure. I wrote the edits at around 3am which is why it read badly and I did the second one as soon as I realised the implication.
That makes far more sense, and there is definitely egg on my face, I was very confused. My apologies for my initial comments tone, it really wasn't necessary.
Thanks for clarifying in such a respectful manner, it wasn't really deserves after my initial comment. Have a wonderful day.
Has China ever expressed interest in joining NATO? Was there ever actually a declinature?
New Zealand also isn't part of NATO, does that mean NATO are imperialists AND flightless bird haters?
Or is this another way I'm blinded by western media and China has been begging to get into NATO and they're just not reporting it in my sheeple network?
Edit: lol not a Chinese flag, I am blind and phone screen is small. My bad. Replace China with USSR then I guess?
Edit2: my first edit makes it seem like I meant that this comment still makes sense with USSR in place of China. That's not what mean, so to clarify, Im an idiot and this whole comment can be ignored ❤️
Win 11 has Talon, which just rips out most of the Microsoft specific bs anyway.
Note: I don't know enough about the script to say for sure that it is safe. And even if I did, I'm a stranger on the internet so you should do your own research before using ❤️
I think they meant low value as in low number, said in a positive way (16gb being a lower number than expected rather than a comment on the quality of it) at least that's how I read it
Nooooo, you don't get it. The poor artists are smug meanies so we are allowed to steal from them. If the poor artist just accepted the massive low ball offer than everyone would be happy and we'd have world peace probably.
As someone who pretends to be a cider, same, except always in the context of "huh, red squilly underline here, time to find where I missed the fucking semicolon"
This article came out just before the ZenFone 9, which I feel (quickly skimming the list) met all of their "ideal" criteria except the design focused ones. I rocked it for a good while, was a good phone and it is super nice having a small phone for every day carry, but after years of foldables it was just a bit too much for me and I ended up going back to the z fold series.
the problem is, from reading discussions around the time, that people either don't want small phones, or they don't feel premium enough (human bias is a helluva drug). I love the idea of a small weekend phone and hope something comes market that has all of the things this person wants (with a spec bump for 2025) cause I'd be super interested to give it a crack

Who did he support?
"I’m speaking, of course, of DHH: Ruby on Rails creator David Heinemeier Hansson." From the article

I used Deezer up until last month, seemed fine to me
The word is slop for those not bothered to click through

Recently done the same and could not believe how easy it was too set up an *arr stack. It's like magic

This is why real scientists use the only reasonable real world measurement - a perfectly spherical cow in a vacuum.

Who's cheating in Skate? That is such a wild thought that people would cheat in the "zone out and skate around in circles" game
