Hibernation! Finally! Will I soon finally be able to leave my deck for weeks without shutting it down? I dont have time to game every day so the power draw during suspend is a real problem for me. I out it down after gaming, then it dies and sits for weeks with a drained battery...
I tried Bazzite for a while, personally I found only negatives. None of the features Bazzite provides were of any interest to me. I found it also downloaded a lot more updates, every time I picked the Deck up to play I had to wait for ages. Also, it did the shader caching thing EVERY TIME I started a game, instead of only sometimes. Went back to stock and I'm much more happy.
Yes. I have no education at all in IT. I have a masters in classical double bass and a career as a musician, working in an opera house now. Computers have always been a hobby and was my second choice for "life path". Could have easily been the other way around, professional nerd and amateur musician. I am very happy as is, though.
I have a wireguard server on my opnsense router. My phone and my wifes phone is permanently connected, doesnt matter if we are on home wifi or not, we just leave it on. Very basic, very stable.
My daily driver is a t450s running Fedora Kinoite. It's great, all working fine, but browsing is getting a bit heavy on it, and battery life is less than an hour, so it's mostly used stationary. Thinking of upgrading to a T14 G3.
Hibernation support? Thisis probably my most missed feature! Imagine suspending to ram as usual, and if I dont resume after 3 hrs it would suspend to disk to preserve battery. Amazing.
Been using this for a while now, I like it a lot! With this release, passkeys dont work in Firefox on Android for me anymore. Firefox on desktop works fine, but both trying to login with, and after deleting and then trying to create a new one on Android, results in an endless loading screen.
Not the pne you replied to, but for me it works to add the full path to another users calendar in davx5, and then setting appropriate permissions to it in the rights file.
Yeah, I seem to be mistaken and you are right, -25 is accurate for heat pumps for room heating. But the Nibe F110 is a heat pump water heater that works down to -10C, and Indol have a few models that says down to -12C. Still quite good!
You can also connect it through the wall so that it uses outside air for its energy. Modern heat pump technology is so good it can remain effective all the way down to -25C.

I have no idea! But I have the LCD so I am excited to see! I'm sure all versions will get it eventually though.

Many thanks!!
I'd like an invite, please! Thank you!
Can you elaborate on 'properly configured'?
Yes
I dont get it. With these settings, dns just stops working and requests are timing out.
How great life would be if consumer routers came with vpn servers by default.
