Other than everything invented in Brooklyn I don't know what H is, but I think it'd be good enough for me.

A couple years ago I interned for computer support at an elementary school in NYC. Most students had Chromebooks and Gsuite, K-2nd grade had iPads. Teachers had Lenovo laptops with Windows 10 and Office365.

Steps in a staircase have two measurements. Tread and rise. The proportions of what we can see make more sense as treads rather than rises. Therefore the mattress is at the bottom. Also what we can see of the handrail would make sense in either direction.

As a New Yorker I can explain that $50 is the fine if caught by an automatic camera, its more if caught by a cop in-person. (Speeding caught in-person is fined hundreds of dollars and points on the license.) The camera fine should be more, the fine for not moving your car for the street sweepers is more! Also the fact he had 4 school zone violations in the same month means that both the fine is too little and also he would also totally run over a kid eventually if he stays in the city.

I must have missed the new laws that have a mandatory 3 day waiting period to buy a new drone, drones can only be purchased from a licensed dealer, dealers have to check against a national registry that a buyer is not prohibited from buying one, felons can't buy drones, and that straw purchasing a drone is a federal offense. Must have missed all that.

I have a job that involves working with spreadsheets. I have Librecalc at home and both Libre and MSOffice at work. I have also had a college course about using Excel specifically. Both really can do mostly the same things but because MS does everything in a specific (backwards) way, people trained on MS who are not otherwise "computer people" can't cope with needing to unlearn and relearn. So the end result is paraprofessionals are locked in.

My mom's dad was 10 in the 40s and was too young to serve, he was the silent generation. My dad's dad was 20 in the 40s and served in the army, he was the greatest generation.
