Back in the day, the games were ground breaking. Valve used them to push the limits of games and what they were capable of. Half Life 2 for example was really big on showcasing physics and how they operated.
But aside from that, for a lot of us growing up, it was one of the best sci-fi titles in all of gaming, and that stuck with us. It's still one of my favorite series of all time.
Not a celebrity, but Mackenzie Scott is making the best use with her fortune from divorcing Bezos. I believe I saw a statistic that she's donated more money to charity than any one person in history, which is nuts. She's still actively doing it, too.
From what I've seen, Flock isn't on the hook for the cost of replacing, the county/local government is the one purchasing them, Flock is making a pretty penny from it.
What does hurt them though is that it's pushing more of these local governments to drop their contract with Flock (and probably move to another company like Axon).

The main issue I was having with SteamOS is I couldn't wake the PC up from sleep with a wireless peripheral of any kind. Went into BIOS and made all the necessary changes and whatnot.
As much as I absolutely despise it, AI was able to assist me with a udev script that worked first try. I was mainly hoping to get my 8bitdo Pro 3 to wake the system since it had a 2.4ghz dongle/station, but even my PS5 controller can wake it now via Bluetooth, no matter how much time has passed.
Now that I don't really need to worry about switching to the desktop, it's been a pretty great experience so far.
Shit, even those who do know Windows will find it daunting.
I just bought a PC over the weekend to replace my PS5 (because fuck Sony) and I installed SteamOS onto it.
I am having a hell of a time figuring it out. It's such an alien OS to me as a lifelong Windows user. I'm still trying to learn how everything works, like udev rules and the file structure/hierarchy it uses. It's mad confusing, normal/less tech savvy people definitely wouldn't be able to handle it.
Man, when Microsoft was busy shooting itself in the face back when they were getting ready to launch the Xbox One, I was so disgusted with them that I swapped to PS4. Been with Sony since then, got a PS5 like 6mos after launch.
Everything Sony is doing is reminding me of Microsoft back then. If they think people like me don't have the balls to drop them and lose their library or what not, they're mistaken. I'm actually getting ready to buy a gaming PC tomorrow that I'm going to convert into a Steam Machine, so I can still have a console-like experience for the main TV.
I hate to see it happen, but I don't want to reward their bad behavior. If all goes well this weekend, my PS5 is gonna be shutting off for a good long while. Maybe even permanently.

Now we're seeing more brands follow the same example, like Volkswagen locking EV battery range behind a paywall.
With BMW doing this, I assure you other brands will follow. I'm pretty sure Stellantis vehicles have been doing some form of this for a little while.
I'd swap one of them out for Fullmetal Brotherhood, as annoying as the fans of that show are, it really is a legendary anime that has a clear beginning, middle, and end while not overstaying its welcome.
Frieren has definitely gone a little off course, and now with how long the series has been on hiatus, I'm honestly a little worried about it ever getting a conclusion.

Not in this case. I have a pair of Pixel Buds A that I've been using as well and they don't exhibit the same issue. I don't think it's hardware related, it's definitely software. Doing a restart usually fixes the issue when it rears its head.
And when it happens, you can't remove the photos from your backup without deleting it from all of your devices, forcing you to keep the backup if it's a photo you like.

This is the first graduation that has hit me hard. I've been a long time fan of Fauna, but last year I was going through an extremely stressful time. Fauna and Ironmouse were a source of a lot of comfort for me during that time.
This is actually devastating for me. I hope she makes another debut in some capacity, but her model was one of my favorites in Hololive.
I would have expected this from Gura, but Fauna just came out of nowhere.
The lack enclosure is a DIY enclosure that Prusa wrote an instructable on how to make. You use two IKEA Lack tables to create the frame and then print some parts to hold it all together with some acrylic panels to help keep the heat in. I think my total cost of materials was like $180-$230 for the whole setup. The price includes the filament used to print the printed parts. (I'd upload a picture, but I keep getting errors when I try to share my setup here).
For me the $850 was worth it. Especially because we use Prusa printers for our print farm at work, we even just got the Prusa XL.
They're definitely a lot more expensive, but the fact that everything is open source is highly valuable to me. They're also like the Toyota of the 3D printer world (or old Toyota, the reliable kind), they're just absolute workhorses that tend to not give you too many issues. For me, I wanted to spend my time printing, not tinkering with the printer trying to get it to work.
The kit was worth it for me, but be prepared to set aside an entire day building it when it shows up, maybe even longer if you're not technically savvy.

They're referring to the Xperia line from Sony. They're water resistant while offering headphone jacks and micro SD slots.
They can get expensive pretty quickly though, depending on the model.
TPU is a little too rigid for that kind of use, it would not be comfortable.
You'd ideally want to print a mold and then use silicone to fill it in and use the silicone as what you "interface" with.
But you definitely could use tpu for the shell that holds the silicone interior.
