db0 explicitly allows hosting discussions about hurting people
Huh? Since when? Lol.
Don’t think DB0 as a whole ever allowed such a thing. We as an instance are heavily against hurting others (I mean we are against racism, hatred, Zionism, Nazism… you name it).
The discussion of Luigi is one that’s is actually needed to be had. The guy did something wrong, yes. But he had all the reasons for it. The industry hurts (and kills) thousands of people just for their profit. Just once they got the “favor” returned.
Anyway, I have no idea what that particular instance is. So won’t be missing it either.
Really can’t tell you who’s worst, Sony, Nintendo, or Xbox.
They are all pretty much the same. Just a different name. They all want most control over their customers, their wallets, their games, and devices. None of them care about their customers.
To be honest, PlayStation started a while ago to be a bit of a mess and it just keeps getting worse. Like another Lemmy user pointed out, it’s not just that they removed the movies and TV shows, but also that they removed it from people who have bought it. They never refunded the money. Prices of games have been going up bit by bit and it will continue to do so. Especially if their "digital only" policy rolls out because that's when they have full control over the prices and their customers.
I have bought the PlayStation 5 and regret it, honestly. It has been collecting dust after the first few months. Been playing games on my PC instead. Won't be purchasing the PlayStation 6 when it comes out. It’s just not worth it.
But you do care because you’re banning people for "serial downvoting." Which is what? What do you consider "serial downvoting"? Two downvotes in a row? Three? Five? Or is it just ''this person downvoted this and that, I Iike the post and the person should be banned because they do not agree with my opinion’' kind of thing?
I also change headlines to fit the articles sometimes, because headlines are shit nowadays.
Change headlines from other people's posts instead of just asking them to change their headlines? Yuck. Glad I found this post and you; thanks to that, I know I should avoid your ''community'' and you as a person on Lemmy.
You just sound like a power-tripping moderator, the ones we usually see on Reddit.
EDIT: I found it odd that every comment pointing out your ''serial downvoting'' comment that contradicts got exactly one downvote. So out of curiosity, I went and checked. Did not surprise me to see that you downvoted every single comment. Five of the six pictures were from you downvoting at the exact same time (at 5:59 PM):
Ahh yeah, that’s a good point. I have not really gone outside of the comfort zone. I mainly use it for my own personal stuff so far. Gaming was not meant to be on a Macbook, I think. For gaming, I prefer a gaming PC. Though, I love being productive on the Macbook because of the apps (Copyist and Refine are great when having to type a lot).
Based on the instance you’re on, you should know this statement is completely untrue…
Ignoring everything else I have written and then try to use a magnifying glass on this particular sentence. You seem like a troll trying to bait me, so this will be my last reply to you.
For the majority of people who use PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, it is true. Most users do not really bother trying to hack their consoles. But you already know that. I will ignore you from now on though.
Yeah, stick to the companies that really care about the consumer like Intel, Gigabyte, and NVIDIA! 🤡
I understand your point but I rather build my own PC, pirate and pay for indie games than buy from Sony, Xbox, or Nintendo. In this life, we got to choose which of the corporations gets our money. At least with a PC, I can choose with which parts I want to build it, how good I want it to be, and how much I want to pay for it or wait it out.
If you know the instance I'm on, you probably know how I get my games, software, and eBooks. I myself can decide whether I want to actually pay for it or not at all. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo users can’t do that. They are forced to pay hefty prices for their games and then still get locked out of their games (movies, TV shows, etc.) when the company decides to pull everything.
Trying to act all ''clownish'' just makes you look like a really bad debater, though.
I hope people will just stop playing on PlayStation (or any console for that matter) and go over to PC with Steam (and 🏴☠️).
Consoles, the game prices and the practices of these corporations ain’t worth the money, time and effort.
EDIT: Since Timothy user seems to be trying to bait and refuses to actually debate, I have blocked the person. So I’m unable to comment back when someone else is commenting on my own comments towards him. Checking his Mod log, a few scrolls downwards and he got banned a lot for trolling.
Honestly, I hope more and more people will just go into Piracy. People deserve to actually own what the purchase and if they do not own it after purchase, there’s no reason to spent money on it. Unless it is explicitly written in the policy that it is a rent.
A very small closed (with the plastic still around it and intact) water bottle. Did not blame the security people though, they are just doing their jobs. But kind of useless to take it away, it was unopened and bought at a store within the airport (even had the receipt).

Don’t think casual gamers will care about this. Most will probably just boot up their games on PlayStation after a long day of work or university.

So you first write this:
And then this:

So with your logic, you should now be banned from this community for ''serial downvoting.''

Tell us;
You hate privacy right, so you don’t need that kind of privacy either. Anyway, this seems to be more of a bait post than anything else.
So in other words, just go the piracy route.

The only launcher (if it is?) I will allow is Steam. Other wise just won’t play the game or 🏴☠️.

Yeah, if you want, would be cool to see if it works. Though, if the Xbox controller works then the PS4 should work too.
I’m not planning to purchase the Steam Machine just yet though, going to wait a few months to see how things go
Oops, yeah. I meant the PS5 controller
Do normal PS5 controllers work on the Steam Machine?
EDIT: misspelled “PS5”, so had to correct it.
I’ll just wait for the PC version and then sail the high seas.
More and more shitty practices of PlayStation. Seems console corporations are on a roll of making the most imbecile decisions

Things like this is why I decided, I don’t want to be an early adopter.
