I think the biggest challenge isn’t Linux itself, but the software and workflows people are already used to. Once the right alternatives are available, the transition can be much easier than people expect.
The transition away from Manifest V2 is a good example of how changes made by major platforms can have a huge impact on developers and users. I’m curious to see how this affects privacy-focused and specialized browser extensions over the long term.
